Cats Whiskers
Cats Whiskers Day Nursery is a family run, 'home from home' style nursery, with staff who are passionate about children's learning and development.
The nursery opened in October 2000 and is owned by Brian and Jacqui Pringle who continue to have a huge amount of input into the day to day running of the business. The nursery is managed by their daughter, Felicity, known by the children as Fizz.
Fizz grew up working in the nursery, from work experience as a teenager, to holiday support, running music and drama sessions, to becoming the nurseries EYP and finally the Early Years Manager. Fizz has a postgraduate qualification as an Early Years Professional and a BA(Hons) in Performing Arts and Music. A number of the team have been at Cats Whiskers for over 10 years.
Brian and Jacqui's son, Greg, is also a frequent visitor to the nursery as our music specialist, running African Drumming workshops with the children.
Home Cooked Food
Here at Cats Whiskers Day Nursery, we pride ourselves on providing delicious, varied and healthy cooked lunches and pudding for all the children which are all prepared in house.
The menu is seasonal, and changes regularly, so that the children get to experience foods and meals from a variety of countries and cultures.
Lunches include anything from roast dinners, to curries, paella, chilli, pasta dishes and much more.
We cater for all dietary requirements and are a NUT FREE setting.

Homemade Pizza
Vegetarian alternatives are always available. All recipes are low in sugar & salt is not used. Processed food is kept to a minimum. Non dairy diets are catered for daily and when a specific choice has not been stated on the menu, a plant based alternative or fresh fruit will have been offered.
Baby diets are agreed in close consultation with parents. Baby food policy & procedures are in place.
