Help with childcare costs – Early Education Funding (EEF)

Every child is eligible for the Universal 15 hours of EEF in the term after their 3rd birthday. This is available at Cats Whiskers for 51 weeks per year over a minimum of 3 sessions per week. For the majority of children the Universal funding is stretched so you will receive a maximum of 11 hours funding per week.

We offer ‘term time’ only options for the Universal 15 hours for a limited number of children. Term time only fees where applicable include a retainer charge for holiday periods. A limited number of term time only places are offered with no charge and for which no deposit is required, terms and conditions apply. However children who attend all year round, requiring full time places or additional hours do get priority.

We do offer Extended 15 hours of EEF for those families who are eligible. These hours are available for 51 weeks per year and only offered on the stretched basis and parents will receive a maximum of 22.25 hours funding per week claiming Universal and Extended Funding. Sessions are subject to availability and eligibility, and your child has to attend a minimum of 4 sessions per week. Terms and conditions apply.

Some two year olds may be eligible for EEF sessions.

Due to the introduction of the Extended entitlement (30 hours) we reserve the right to review all EEF offers in January 2018
